William Morris

Each cap and barrel overlay starts as a flat sheet of precious metal, and every piece of filigree is painstakingly pierced by hand. The sheets are then formed into cylindrical shapes on steel mandrills before the Acanthus leaf pattern is freehand engraved on each piece - a highly skilled process that took many hours of labour by Henry.
Available in Sterling Silver or 23ct Gold-plated Sterling Silver
We are offering 2 versions of this William Morris pen – the silver version of which there are 5, and a 23ct gold-plated sterling silver version which is called a vermeil version of which there will be 4. All pens are hallmarked by the London Assay Office hallmarks as well as Henry's personal hallmark - his initials HCS.
