The Conway Stewart Collectors Pen in Black Whirl is an elegant fusion of swirling black patterns, interwoven with different shades of scarlett, and sunset colours, and is perfectly complemented by 9ct gold rings and an 18ct gold nib.
The colour "Black Whirl" is inspired by the swirling movement of dark clouds during a storm, and the red sky at night promising better things to come, symbolising the powerful and dynamic nature of the weather.
The Conway Stewart Collectors Pen in Black Whirl is a medium-sized pen, making it perfect for use as a daily writer and fitting neatly into a shirt pocket.
The original Conway Stewart Collectors Pen range was launched in the 100th year of Conway Stewart, and called the Centenary Collectors Pen. It was initially only available to members of the Conway Stewart Collectors Club (hence the name) but later they were also sold through some selected Conway Stewart stockists. As a consequence, they are very rare.
The Collectors Pen was the first Conway Stewart to be launched with a stepped cap top and stepped barrel end since the early 1900's. The barrel also has a taper giving it a balanced and elegant look.
Made from the original components turned in the Plymouth factory, and hand-assembled in our workshop in Hampshire, England.
Limited edition of 20 pens only
The wide cap ring is made from 9ct gold and is hallmarked. This wide cap ring can be engraved with your initials, or you can have your full name engraved on the barrel.
Only available as a fountain pen, and fitted with an 18ct gold CS size 5 nib in EF, F, M or B widths.
Each pen is housed in a Conway Stewart black leatherette presentation box which also serves as a showcase pen stand for your desk.
