The Conway Stewart Winston Cherry Red holds true to the classic 1920s styling that made Conway Stewart famous, yet has a freshness that makes it a joy to hold and use. It has a slight taper to the barrel end and a gently rounded cap top and weighs in at a hefty 66 grams – it is definitely a heavyweight pen!
The blind end of the barrel unscrews to reveal a brass knurled top of the twist filler - a very lovely feature. The Conway Stewart Winston is set off with 9ct gold fittings – a narrow ring on the barrel end, and a wider band at the nib section which is hall marked, while the cap features a pair of narrow gold rings for that extra touch of luxury.
The Conway Stewart Winston is a substantial pen that’s beautifully built and named in honour of Sir Winston Churchill.
The Conway Stewart Winston is the ideal choice if you prefer a large pen; one that stands out in a crowd, but which still stays true to the classic style and feel of a vintage Conway Stewart design. The top mounted clip allows the pen to sit low in your pocket, making the Winston a more practical choice for everyday use, and there is a carefully balanced solid brass liner to the barrel which gives this model a comfortable heft without making it too heavy for daily use.
If you would prefer a Cartridge/Converter version which is a lighter pen then this can be ordered at no extra charge - See "Filling Mechanism" tab below for further details.
